For Companies: How and where can I post a job/internship announcement?
You can post your announcement by clicking on the "Employer Job Posting" at the top right corner of the Career Center website (kariyermerkezi.bogazici.edu.tr) and filling out the form that appears.
How long do the job/internship announcements stay online, and is there a fee for this?
Announcements are displayed for 30 days, and there is no fee with posting them.
I want to edit/remove the announcement I posted. How can I do that?
If you wish to make any edits or remove an announcement, please contact kariyermerkezi@bogazici.edu.tr, and the necessary changes will be made.
How can I apply to participate in Career Days?
The Student Activities Coordination manages Career Days. You can contact them at onur.demir@boun.edu.tr or by phone at 0212 359 71 09.
For Students: How can I stay informed about the events organized by the Career Center?
Our events are announced to all students through our website, social media accounts, and email.
How can I benefit from career counseling?
To benefit from career counseling, students need to apply during the announced dates each year. They will be matched with counselors to receive guidance on setting individual career goals and preparing for the business world.
Who can I contact for detailed information about internships?
For information regarding insurance matters, contact ‘Hesap İşleri’ (hesap@boun.edu.tr). For issues related to mandatory internships, internship acceptance, internship forms, and contact your department secretary and internship coordinator.
Does the school cover insurance payments for optional internships?
Insurance is not provided for optional internships during the academic term.
How can I get information about the National Internship Program?
You can obtain detailed information on the national internship program at kariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr.
How can I get support for the SOP/Statement of Purpose?
Detailed information about the Academic Statement of Purpose (SoP) is available on our website. Students wishing to have their Statement of Purpose checked should send the draft in Word format, along with their name, the application deadline set by the initial school, and any word limit information, to grad.app@boun.edu.tr.
