We are looking for a "Linux System Administrator" for Wingie Enuygun Group's growing team. With this position, you will have the chance to take part in the team that has developed one of Turkey's most successful internet projects.
What makes you special?
• Extensive experience in Linux OS
• Advanced knowledge of linux network design and security requirements
• Experience with High Availability infrastructure components (Load Balancers, HAProxy etc.)
• Knowledge of HA Database Clustering - Replication and optimization (MySQL, Mongo, Memcached, Redis)
• Knowledge of HA Web Servers and optimization (Nginx, Apache)
• Knowledge of Virtualization (VMWare)
• Familiar with orchestration tools and infrastructure as code (IaC) (Ansible)
• In-depth knowledge of database backup and disaster recovery procedures
• Familiarity with reporting and monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Graylog, New Relic, Zabbix etc.), documentation and coding (Bash, Python etc.)
• System Administration Experience in high traffic websites
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in relation to the system infrastructure
#Nice to Have
• Experience with Galera and Percona MySQL Cluster
• Experience with Cloud DB Services, (GCP, AWS etc.)
• Experience with Hadoop, Cassandra, Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS database - network requirements
What will you do?
• Building and maintaining system infrastructure components
• Providing technical support to fix network and infrastructure related problems
• Recommending architectural improvements, design solutions and integration solutions
• Monitoring system performance and manage resource planning
• Applying necessary updates to ensure system security
• Controling access permissions, privileges to ensure data security
• Designing and implementing processes for database backups, restores and recovery models
• Implementing best practices that will continuously improve service quality
• Coordinating with the software development team to ensure their needs are met from a software perspective
• Providing technical support to development team before the project deployments and after
• Planning operations to update/upgrade system components
• Searching new technologies to apply current system infrastructure
• Finding and fixing problems related to system and maintain daily operations
