Task description: Under the overall supervision of Operations Manager and guidance of the respective Programme Specialists, the ICT Junior Analyst will be responsible for supporting on the following tasks:

1. IT Infrastructure Management:
- Ensure uninterrupted functioning of the CO IT infrastructure.
2. Ensure users have seamless access to all digital resources and cybersecurity:
- Timely identify potential threats and implement preemptive and remedial actions.
- Safeguard UN Women's desktops and network resources from malicious attacks.
3. Internet Connectivity:
- Ensure reliable internet connectivity for UN Women staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve internet-related issues, both public and internal.
4. Digital Transformation:
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for converting business processes into web-based systems, enhancing efficiency.
5. Telephony:
- Ensure proper operation of UN Women phones for staff.
- Address issues related to IP telephones and external phone lines.
6. Office 365 Support:
- Assist UN Women colleagues in using Office 365 and other official platforms.
- Develop innovative tools and resources to enhance internal digital communication.
7. Software Management:
- Implement and maintain corporate UN Women software systems in coordination with UN Women HQ ICT department.
- Provide software installation and reinstallation services as required.
8. Hardware Support:
- Diagnose, evaluate, and prioritize requests for hardware and software assistance from CO staff.
- Perform hardware diagnostics and regular PC cleanup.
9. Network Management:
- Manage Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure and work collaborate with HQ team. Develop system regarding HQ standard.
- Ensure UN Women’s internet connectivity aligns with organizational requirements.
10. Onboarding:
- Coordinate ICT onboarding requirements for new staff in collaboration with management.
11. Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform regular maintenance of office equipment.
- Ensure damaged equipment is sent to appropriate service centers.
12. Inventory Management:
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software and hardware.
- Follow-up ICT inventory and provide monthly report to Operation Manager.
13. Procurement Assistance:
- Provide advice on ICT equipment and hardware acquisition.
- Draft technical specifications, recommend local and international options, and participate in bid reviews.
14. IT Audits and Disaster Recovery;
- Assist in IT Audits and updates to the IT Disaster Recovery Plan for the Country Office.
15. Information Security:
- Ensure compliance with Information Security guidelines regarding HQ requests and take necessary actions to address non-compliance.
16. Remote Support:
- Provide remote support to sub-offices as required.
- Regarding WFA (work-from-home) policy make sure to support remote users timely manner.
17. Provide support to IM (information management) team if needed.
18. Train staff in Hardware and Operating Systems, programs, software and applications in their normal use,
operation, and handling.
19. Manage UN Women project Web page and provide support if needed.
20. Assist with inventory validation is important. First degree is an added asset:
- Process ICT equipment registration and disposal in Quantum asset module, support to the physical inventory verification exercise by checking the accuracy of records and location of property and prepare inventory reports as required.
21. Data visualization and reporting:
- Set up dynamic dashboards for the visualization of data.
Perform any other routine ICT related tasks as requested.

Required experience
3 years of experience in network administration and use of hardware/software, telecommunications facilities.
- ICT Experience in SharePoint/HTML required.
- A+ knowledge (A+ is fixing the hardware and software issues) required.
- Certification on CISCO Meraki and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals is an asset.
- ICT experience in UN Agency with knowledge of ICT functions, applications, network administration and use of hardware/software, telecommunications facilities is an asset.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL considered is an asset.
- Certification in graphics packages considered is an asset.

Summary of Entitlements and Allowances for National UN Volunteer (Specailist):
• Currently, Monthly Living Allowance (MLA) is USD 1224 (paid in TRY based on the monthly UNORE rate)
• Private insurance: Health, dental, life and dismemberment (100%) coverage by CIGNA.
As per UN’s diplomatic mission status, UN personnel are not included in National Security Institution’s (SGK) system, but it can be initiated on private basis.
• Entry allowance: USD 400
• Exit allowance: USD 102 per month and upon the satisfactory completion of assignment
• Annual leave: 2.5 days accrued per calendar month. Uncertified sick leave: 7 days for 12 months
